The German R/V Meteor, a Bundesamt fur Seeschif fahrt und Hydrographie sponsored ship, provided automated weather observations taken every hour during some cruises and averaged once a minute on other cruises. The DVS and IMMT automated weather systems were located at the center of the vessel. The variables available are:

* Platform Speed	* Platform Relative Wind Direction
* Platform Relative Wind Speed	* Earth Relative Wind Direction
* Earth Relative Wind Speed	* Sea Temperature
* Atmospheric Pressure	* Air Temperature
* Dewpoint Temperature	* Relative Humidity
* Atmospheric Radiation

*Certain variables may not be available for every cruise on this ship.
