COAPS/QuikSCAT Level 2B Stress Swath Data Format

The data will be stored in a NetCDF format. The format will be similar to that of our winds subsample, with different scaling factors and add offsets. An example will be provided when the data set is produced.

To save space, the data has been stored with a scale factor and an offset. To convert the data to physical units, multiply the retreived value by the scale factor and then add the offset. The missing data value applies to the data prior to rescaling.
