COAPS is almost entirely supported by grants and collaborative partnerships motivated to advance the field of ocean-atmospheric prediction studies.
COAPS has a number of ongoing partnerships with private industry, government agencies, and other research or academic institutions. We partner with some on collaborative research projects, while others make direct contributions of time, resources and money that enhance the educational experience of our students through internships, fellowships, and job opportunities. If you are a researcher or a potential industry partner, please contact us to let us know of your specific interest.
COAPS is a member of the Northern Gulf Institute (NGI) and the Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies(CIMAS).
