Announcement

The 10th HYCOM Meeting will take place at COAPS, Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, USA on November 7-9, 2006 (Tue-Thu).

Objectives

The HYCOM consortium is a multi-institutional effort funded by the National Ocean Partnership Program (NOPP), as part of the U. S. Global Ocean Data Assimilation Experiment (GODAE), to develop and evaluate a data-assimilative hybrid isopycnal-sigma-pressure (generalized) coordinate ocean model (called HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model or HYCOM).

This workshop is open to anyone interested in HYCOM or hybrid coordinate ocean models. The organizers are seeking contributions from interested parties. Attendees should complete the on-line registration and those interested in presenting an oral or a poster are asked to submit an abstract. Registration and abstract deadline is October 20, 2006.
