The list of hotels below is in order of preference for both location to COAPS (Center for Ocean Atmospheric Prediction Studies) and surrounding flavor of Tallahassee.

The rates shown are per night for a standard room (one double bed) and do not include tax. Click on the links provided below the descriptions to get more information regarding the hotel amenities.

• Doubletree Hotel - 101 S. Adams Street (850) 224-5000; $109.00.
  The Doubletree is located approximately 4.5 miles from COAPS in beautiful downtown Tallahassee. The hotel is within walking distance of the Capital Complex and the Tallahassee Museum of History. The hotel is adjacent to several fine dining establishments such as Jacob's on the Plaza, Andrew's, Paradigm, Jasmine and Andrew's 228. There is a $6.00 fee for self-parking and an $8.00 fee for valet parking per day. If you are making reservations by phone please identify yourself under the 10th HYCOM Consortium Group. • Park Plaza Hotel - 415 N. Monroe Street (850) 224-6000; $89.00.
  The Park Plaza Hotel is located approximately 5 miles from COAPS and is one of our finer hotels. It offers a very nice dining facility within the hotel and is located in downtown Tallahassee. It is within a short drive of the Capital Complex and the Tallahassee Museum of History. Parking is free for guests. • Holiday Inn NW - 2714 Graves Road (850) 562-2000; $99.00.
  The Holiday Inn is located approximately 9 miles from COAPS just to the north of Interstate 10. The hotel is located within walking distance to Marie Livingston's, one of Tallahassee's finest steakhouses. The Holiday Inn is one the newer hotels in Tallahassee and offers the finest of amenities and is Tallahassee's only 100% non-smoking hotel. There are several restaurants located less than 1 mile from the Holiday Inn such as Shoney's, Julie's (locally owned and operated), Crystal River Seafood and Cracker Barrel. • Cabot Lodge - 2735 N. Monroe Street (850) 386-8880; $73.00.
  The Cabot Lodge is located approximately 8 miles from COAPS just to the south of Interstate 10. There are several restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel such as Cracker Barrel, Shoneys, Julie's (locally owned and operated), Crystal River Seafood and Sonny's Bar-B-Q.   The Comfort Inn is located approximately 9 miles from COAPS next to the Holiday Inn NW. The hotel is located next to Marie Livingston's, one of Tallahassee's finest steakhouses.
