My work at COAPS includes the development of the Hybrid Coordinates Ocean Model (HYCOM) and the maintenance of the HYCOM.com Github repository as well as the evaluation of other ocean models (MOM6 and soon NUMA) compared with HYCOM. I also participate in several studies of the Gulf of Mexico (impact of resolution and data assimilative runs) and one study on the Arctic Ocean.

Other interests include HYCOM developments, tides in the Gulf of Mexico and ocean-ice interactions.
