***NOTE: As of October 2020, the source GTS data for the FSU winds has
been changed from NCEP to the
Observing System Monitoring Center
(OSMC). FSU verified that the two GTS sources are very similar;
however the OSMC does include more wind records (especially for western
Pacific moorings).***
